Chapter 1
Hello I am Terry and I am 15 years old and about to turn 16. Now lets begin. NYC Year 2112.
“Lunchtime students.” My teacher says. “Yay today I brought instant ramen!” I exclaim.
Ok I know what you’re thinking now why start the story here, it’s just the start of a book just like any other so why not.
“Time to chow down!” I exclaim. “Nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom nom!” I chomp my food down like a ferocious tiger.
And before I know it there is an empty ramen bowl with no noodles right in front of me. “Yummy yummy in my tummy, man that was a good lunch!” I shouted.
A couple hours later.
“Ring!!!” School is out! I sprint down the school and run toward a hill then I go and walk until I find a small red button. You’re probably curious why there is a small red button here well, you’re about to find out. I lightly tap the button.
“Click click click sss!” I head straight forward into the cave.
Chapter 2
After walking for a couple seconds I find some high tech computers, tv, video game console, a video game controller controller, a bowl of ramen, keyboard and a mouse. You want to know why I’m here. Well I am a ninja if you didn’t notice and this, this is my secret lair, but I should not be telling you this so let’s keep this little secret between us.
“This is gonna be a fun day.” I say.
I know, I know, you think what the heck is happening here. Well, I fight crime and do many other things like track robbers, eat ramen in my base, play video games and many other things. “Click click click.” “Scanning the city for bad guys stealing.” The computer says. “Ding!” “A band of robbers are stealing money at the bank.” It says in an electronic voice. “Let’s go!” I exclaim.
Chapter 3
I put on my suit and my gear and rush to my car and hop in. “Where to?” Says my car.
“To the bank.” I answer.
15 minutes later.
“Swish.” I find the robbers in the money vault. I sneak around them but they are too thrilled about their robbery to notice me. “Bam!” I kick a bad guy in the gut “Thump.” The other robbers didn’t seem to notice until they saw me behind another robber and looked at me like I was a freak. “Let’s teach him a lesson to never mess with us!”
“Creme him!” Says a robber. “Bam! Bam! Shapow! Thunk!” After a few punches and a few kicks the robbers were laying on the ground too stunned to move. “As you were saying?” I ask. “Ugh.” A robber groans.
I head out and go back to my car. “Thank you for saving my bank.” The bank owner says. “No problem.” I tell him.
Chapter 4
I head into my car and drive back up to the hill that my secret lair is in.
“Any more robberies?” I ask my computer. “Several, one the jewelry store,one at the museum and one at the grocery store.” my computer says. “Ok computer I will go.” I say.
I go to my car and drive off. “And also one at the electronics store.” It says. But I wasn’t paying any attention. I head to the jewelry store and I beat up the bad guys with one punch each and I give them to the police.
Then I go to the museum and find the bad guys and fight them under a T-rex skeleton. “Bam!”
“Bam!” “Bam!” I beat them up and headed to the grocery store.
I find a robber attacking the grocery store owner. “Hey.” I tell the robber. Then I do a jumping front kick into his stomach and he falls to the ground unconscious. “Thank you.” Says the grocery store owner. “No problem.” I tell him.
And with that I head back to my lair but before I get there. “Boom!” an explosive explodes my car and my car and I go flying. At least my car is strong because it would’ve destroyed me but luckily it only destroyed the back of my car. “Hey!” I yell but I lose the robber then “Thunk!” He kicks me in the gut and I lose consciousness.
Chapter 5
A while later.
“Ugh.” I groan. When I open my eyes I find myself squished between 2 trash bags and it was nighttime. “Yuck.” I say. I walk out and see the electronics store and I go in and check the store for clues. “Nothing.” I tell myself. “No clues and not a lot of electronics left.” I say. So I slowly jog to my base that is a couple miles away.
Once I get there I look on the news and look for robbery at the electronics store. Then, after I look for it a little I see it. “Robbery at the electronics store, no clues to who did this.” I read. I looked at the date and my eyes widened. “Oh my god.” I say. I’ve been knocked out for 3 days(that explains why I’m so hungry and thirsty)! My birthday is in 1 week and now my mom and dad will come home soon because it’s 9:00 at night! They usually come back at 8:00 so they’re probably wondering where I am!
Chapter 6
I change my clothes and rush to my house and I use my keys and I open the door. I see my mom and dad talking to 911. “My son has been missing!” my mom sobs. When I walk to her her eyes widen and she yells, “Where have you been!” She asks me. “I was heading home and I passed the electronics store and I saw a robber and I ran but he was fast and he knocked me out and hid me so no one would see me and tell anyone that he was robbing the store.” I sorta lied. “At least you are safe but that was 3 days ago.” She tells me. “I know I looked at my phone and it said it was 3 days ago I was knocked out for 3 days!” I tell her. Ok most parents would probably ground you because you were knocked out that long and think you just made it up but my mom believes me a lot. “Such a silly story, do you really think that I would believe you this story is so fake so you’re grounded, until you actually tell me what really happened.” She tells me. Uh I must have made a mistake because this usually would not happen.
“But-”I couldn’t continue because my dad said. “You heard your mom, you’re grounded!” My dad interrupts.
Chapter 7
I take some of the dinner up with a plate and fork and eat in my room and after I eat I just sit on the ground and just think about the person who knocked me out.
After I sit and think I sneak downstairs and take my phone and my mom and dad don’t notice me because I am a ninja. And I go up and call my ninja school that’s secret and now you know another secret of mine I am telling you this because I trust you so yes do not tell anyone else. “Hello.” says my teacher from the ninja school. “Hey.” I tell him. “Oh hi Terry.” He tells me. “You remember the electronics store robbery?” I ask. “Yes.” He answers. “Well, The robber blew up my car and he knocked me out for 3 days and now I am grounded.” I explain. Oh so you want to know about him?” he asks.
“Yes.” I answer. “Leave your home, you know where the secret entrance is.” He says.
“Ok, I’ll be on my way.” I tell him.
So I hang up and silently jump out of my window, into the tree and jump on the ground. I run to my base and grab my clothes and head to a sewer cover near my regular elementary school and I find letters on it and trace my hand on it. Suddenly the letters begin to shine but I hear small footsteps but I pay no attention. The sewer entrance opens and I jump in.
Chapter 8
I find a button and press it. An elevator appears and I walk through it but I see a shadowy figure behind me just like the one that knocked me out but the elevator door closed and I headed down the elevator.
Ding! The door opens and I see a high tech training dojo. “Welcome.” My teacher says. “Hello Rico.” I tell him. “I see you upgraded the training area.” I say. “Yes.” Rico says. “I have a surprise for you.” Rico says. “What?” I ask. “Here is a new apprentice, his name is Bob.” He says. “No, I do not want an apprentice.” I say. “Come on he is gonna be fun to work with.” He says. “Fine.” I grumble. “My name is Bob pleasure to meet you.”Bob says. “You to bob.”I answered. “Wait, Rico.” I say. “What?” Rico asks. The same guy who knocked me out came through the-”But I couldn’t finish. “Bam!” The elevator door exploded and the same person who knocked me out came walking right through the entrance. “Is that what you were gonna tell me?!” He asks. “Yes!” I answer. “You two go, I will hold this guy off!” He says.
And with that we Rico and that other guy fight while we run.
Chapter 9
While they are busy, me and Bob jump to the elevator and go to the cable from and hold the cable and walk up holding the cable. Surprisingly, Bob also could do this but not as good as me because he was struggling a little. Finally we get to the top of the elevator and open the doors. But we didn’t stop just because the bad guy must’ve gotten beaten or beaten Rico. So we ran to the sewer hatch and popped it open. “That was a little scary.” Says bob. “I guess so.” I say.
So we ran to the hill with my secret base. “Why are we here?” Bob asks.
I press a button and my secret base is revealed. “Oh.” says Bob. We walk in and talk. “Who is that guy?” Bob asks. “I have no clue.” I answer. So we talk about our strategy “Let’s attack at both of his sides and keep doing that.” I say. Then I tell him some more plans if that one fails. Then I tell him that if all else fails, plan. “Lets spar.”I say. “Ok.” Bob answers. “Bam! Bam! Bam!” Before I knew it I layed on the ground with Bob laying beside me. “You’re good.” I tell him. “You too.” Bob tells me. “Let’s go to our homes.” I say. “Ok.”Bob says.
So we walk to our houses and wave goodbye so I walk to my house at 11:00 but luckily my mom or dad doesn’t check on me when I’m grounded (at least I think so) I walk and climb into my window and I don’t see my mom or dad. And I go into my bed and go to sleep.
Chapter 10
When I wake up I see a face looking at me not my mom or dad but my new apprentice Bob. “Good morning.” Bob says. “Morning,” I tell him. “Lets go.” Bob tells me and then I noticed how Bob got in. I forgot to close the window!
So jump out the window back to our secret base. When I got in I found a few adjustments: one more chair, another ramen maker, a computer, another suit and another video game controller. But what really really caught my attention was a brand new car with really strong material. “How did you do this?” I say. “I just looked at the blueprints that you left on the table but I added some adjustments, It took a while.” Bob tells me. “Oh.”I say. “Lets suit up.” Bob says. “But don’t call me Bob anymore, call me the shadow apprentice.” He says.
Chapter 11
We suit up and we search around the city for major robberies and try to find the bad guy that knocked me out then after a few seconds we find the only robbery and it was at the electronics store like last time.
I grab a bomb and We hop into our car and I see that this car is so much more high-tech than my old car. “Nice car.” I say. “To the jewelry store.” Bob says. “Understood master.” Says the car. We drive and it only takes us 5 minutes to get to the electronics store.
We jump out of our car and run into the electronics store but I freeze right when we find the first table I look and I see a button on the table and I press it. Suddenly a secret staircase appears. “Whoa.” says Bob. “Let’s check it out,”I say.
Chapter 12
The staircase looked old but we kept on going and finally we found two elevators. Bob walks up to one and he almost pushes it until I say, “Wait this could be a trap!” I say. “How come?” Bob says. “Why would someone have two elevators but they only need one.” I say. “Good point.” Bob says. “Let’s choose wisely.” I say. We push both buttons on the elevator.
“Ding! Ding!” With surprising speed both elevators come up super fast. “Which one do we choose?” Bob asks. “I do not know but my gut tells me the one on the left.” I say. “Okay.” Bob says. We walk into the elevator. We pressed down but something wrong seemed to be happening. The elevator was making weird noises. “Shunk!” the elevator started falling.
“I think this elevator was the trap!” Bob says. “I totally agree with you!” I say.
Chapter 13
“Are you ready?” I ask. “For what?” Bob asks. “Jump!” I say. I opened the top hatch, jumped through it and Bob did too. We were falling fast but luckily I saw two cables. “On the count of three grab the right cable!” I tell him. “Ok!” Bob says. “3 2 1, Jump!” I say.
We leap from the elevator and grab the cables. We use the cables and climb down finally after several minutes we find an elevator door. “Bob, I need you to open the elevator door. I will hold you,” I say. “Okay,” Bob says nervously. I Tie a big knot around my waist so I won’t fall and I grab Bob and put him in front of the elevator door. He opens it with all his might. “Creak Creak!” Bob manages to open the doors to the elevator.
I throw Bob into the entrance, then I go in and untie the rope. “That was a close call.” Bob says. “Yeah.” I say. “Oh wow!” Bob says.
Chapter 14
We look into the room and see piles of treasure all on the ground. We wander around and look at two doors and one staircase.
We go through the staircase and we go for about 10 minutes and we press a button then we see the room where the two elevators are. “So this is the easy way to get down.” Bob says. I nod then we walk back down the stairs then we examine the room with the treasure. We didn’t find anything until I got an idea. I Threw one but it didn’t make a clang sound, it made a thunk.
“This treasure is fake!” I say. “It’s meant for you to just grab the fake treasure and walk out of the place without the real treasure.” I tell him. “Ok.” Bob says. “Maybe we have to dig through the treasure and maybe there is a button at the bottom.” I say. “Possibly.” Bob says. So we dig through the treasure and we keep digging and digging. Finally we find a button and we press it.
A secret staircase appears so we jump in and walk down the stairs.
Chapter 15
Finally after we go for about a minute we find more treasure.
I walk up to it and grab two pieces of treasure. “Clang!” This treasure was real, no doubting that. But in the corner of my eye I saw a shadowy figure. “Duck!” I yelled to Bob. Bob ducked and right behind him was the shadowy figure and tried to kick him but missed by only 1 inch.
Chapter 16
“Who are you?!” I demanded. But the shadowy figure didn’t respond so I tried again. “I said, who are you!” I growled. The shadowy figure spoke in a rough voice and said. “That is not important. The important question is why are you here, why do you want to fight me.” The shadowy figure Tells me. “No more questions let’s get to it!” I say. “Let’s do this!” I tell Bob. “Right.” Bob answers. We charged at him but he was fast, not like a bike fast like a car fast, man that is fast. He dodged with us almost bonking our heads on each other but rolled to opposite sides and ran towards him we both sent a barrage of attacks but luckily we caught him by surprise and I ran behind him and Bob kicked him towards me and I kicked him back like a soccer ball we kept doing this but he found out our pattern when Bob kicked him the tenth time I noticed the shadowy figure recovering he turned around in mid air and landed on me. “Oof!” Then before I recovered he charged at Bob who was watching him but luckily he was too hurt to move fast enough to hit him. So he tried to punch Bob but Bob jumped into the air and did a mid air kick. “Wham!” The force was so strong that The shadowy figure flew backwards and landed unconscious on the ground.
Chapter 17
“Nice one.” I told him. “Yeah,” He says. I stand up and we take off his mask and we see the bank person who was at the bank! “I own a bank but I do not get to have that money and I want to be a billionaire not a prisoner!” He exclaimed. “Well, not everyone gets away with breaking more laws than you can say.” I say.
We grab him and we walk out of the place until we get outside. We call the police and give the guy to the police then we tell the police that if some shadowy figure stole your stuff it will be at the electronics store. “That was a good story.” I told him. “Yeah and it ended well.” Bob says. The end.
