“Bye mom,” I said.
I walked outside. George barked at a squirrel.
“NO GEORGE !” I yelled. I yanked on his leash.
“Sit George,” I said. As he sat down,I gave him a treat. We went on walking till we got to a grassy meadow. I sat down and let George off the leash. I threw the ball so far it took him 10 minutes to retrieve it. Next I threw it super high. He jumped up and spun in the air and snatched it in his mouth. All of a sudden his head jerked to the right and he ran off at top speed.
“No George!” I yelled. I chased after him but he was gone.
I looked up and down every path in the whole park.I heard a bark and I knew it was gorges. I ran after the bark. I saw George Chewing on a squirrel. I was so stunned I culdint move. When he was done with the squirrel he ran off like he hadn’t seen me. ran home crying. I thrust the door open. With my head hung low, there were tears running down my face.
“What’s wrong and where did George go?” said my dad.
“He was running around then his head jerked to the right then he ran off at top speed,” I said in a sad voice.
“Well why don’t you go call for him on your bike?” he asked.
“Ok,” I said. Then I walked down to the garage, put on my bike helmet and peddled off into the streets of San Francisco. I started close by where he ran off. I rode all around San Francisco but I didn’t even see a glimpse of him. I rode back home and I reported back to my dad.
“Hmm why don’t you put up posters,” said my dad. We went on to the computer and found a picture of him. We typed out a reward of one hundred dollars. I went walking with the posters and a stapler in my hand. I put up a poster everyware somebody might see it. I was so tired when I got home because I had to walk all around S.F. laterI my dad made me a special dinner. It was my favorite BBQ meatballs. The first bite tasted like an explosion of flavor and spices. When I woke up the next day,I felt ready to give up on George.
When I heard the doorbell ring. ,I dashed to the door and I heard my footsteps echoing in my ear. I flung the door open and it hit a boy
“ouch!”said the boy.
“O sorry!”I said. I was very confused to see this boy because I know a lot of people in S.F but I have never seen him.
“Hi, I’m Troy, who are you?” said the boy.
“I am Fred,” I replied.I jumped up and down. I thought I would never see Gorge but here he was. My heart was beating so fast I could hear it thumping. I had a huge smile on my face and my eyes bulged in excitement.
“I think this is your dog,” he said. George ran up to me with a big bone in his mouth and his tail wagging like crazy.
“Where did you find him?” I said.
“Well I was walking and I saw one of your posters, I kept my eye out for him and saw him peeking out of a dumpster bin. He was winning so I brought him home with me and gave him this bone,” he said.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” I said I gave him a thick stack of bills. I hugged George so tight he dropped his bone.He gave me a bunch of dog kisses back.
The end!
