Disappointments for others

They are a representation of America, since the first colony

The U.S is known for reacting too late,

Knowing something is not right, but never doing anything

Just like WW2

Only entering because we were attacked

Still often regarded as the “Greatest Nation”

More could’ve been done,

And that view is in every American,

Just like the Kennedys

They knew racial inequality was wrong,

But they evaded the topic,

Until finally JFK spoke,

And now he is the one who ended segregation?

More could’ve been done,

The U.S could’ve done more,

The Kennedy’s could’ve done more,

But so can we, do more
