The house on the quiet 6th avenue

The hot upstairs of my house that makes it hard to sleep at night 

The constant sound of sports on the TV

Arguments when playing basketball in the backyard

My dog running laps around my house

You see sushi once or twice a week

The Boring breakfast of oatmeal before school 

Always explaining that I don’t like ketchup

Being able to walk to restaurants

My mom’s magnificent cooking

Spending soooo much time picking a movie to watch at night

My mom waking me up to go to school in the morning

Not having a family dinner because everyone has sports practices

Staying up late playing games with my family

Always needing a turkey sandwich after playing a baseball game

Being excited when my brother comes home from boarding school

My dog Buckner chasing tennis balls in the park

Wishing I could stop coronavirus and get back to playing sports

I want to be a professional sports player when I grow up

I want to  be smart and do well in school

Playing all the sports I love

I hope to live a long and nice life
