Apple day is  important to my family.  I look forward to apple day because there are crunchy apples, gooey donuts, and plenty of cool apple cider.  We get all these things on Apple day. But we also get to see everybody once a year.

There is a freshwater stream near a waterfall and a apple farm and a pear tree and a blue berry farm. It’s in Connecticut and why we go there is because it’s kind of a tradition that’s been going on since my dad was a kid. I’ve gone as long as I can remember. We take a plane and then take an Uber to a car rental, get a rental car and drive to the place. A mailbox that looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere. Then you go up a road and you see a giant bell that’s been there for a long time. Whenever someone leaves you ring the bell i now that apple day is about family. We have many traditions at apple day.

Since there are toddlers they pin down branches that are very low. There are signs that say, “DO NOT PICK. FOR TODDLER only.” For people who are older, we use hooks to get it onto an apple and when we pull it the apple falls onto some foam. we Drink apple cider and Give away apple cider that we make. How we make the cider is that we take apples from a bucket of water and put it into an apple press. Then from the bag of crushed apple pieces we put it into a little thing with a bucket under it and a big wooden circle. We turn it around and smushes the apples and the juice flows into the bucket. We pretty much give away the cider to anyone who is at apple day.

Next Friends and family. are cousins madeline and sander we see them once a year and when the day is over  we say goodbye. We pretty much see them and some people stay inside and cook delicious soup. Some people stay over for a little bit. People go home at some point. We all have a fun time. Some people bring dogs. One of them is really shy. I enjoy spending time with Tessa there because there are not many kids there. Sometimes we get to eat a bunch of donuts that are cinnamon flavor and very gooey while we’re there. And then we, as well, kind of get to go to a lake that i accidently dropped my ipod in. Also, we, as well, get to see a dog named Pico which is our friend’s, dad’s, kid’s dog that tries to take the birdy when we are playing bad mitin

At apple day, some people might be afraid of the mountain lions. Deer are also a problem because they might eat the apples. Someday i will have to take over apple day like my dad Again it will go great because my dad got mason bees so the bees can pollinate the apple trees. With a perspective, I’m Jackson.
