Me and my dad are walking down my block and we are looking at the Beautiful trees and flowers. And Milo my puppy is tugging. 

“Milo’s tugging! I don’t like it” I say to my dad.  “I think he’s just excited,” I said to my dad. 

My dad said “yeah I’m guessing he is really excited to see the other dogs”.  Milo barked at another dog. “We’re here”! I said to Milo At the dog park I let Milo off leash he ran off and played with other dogs, he caught a ball right out of the air and bumped into another dog. The other dog bit milo! and Milo yelped! The other dog pushed Milo into me. I fell on to the fake grass. Luckily I did not get hurt. Milo was still fighting. Then right as he was going to bite the other dog again…

Two seconds later right as Milo was going to bite the other dog he saw me and came over. He started Licking my face. I started Laughing so hard I could feel pain in my stomach. I could feel the footsteps of the other dog. He was coming through the dog park and tord me and Milo we Thought  he was coming over to fight Milo again but he was coming over to lick and kiss. Milo growled, I said Milo no let’s give them a chance. They came over and Milo put his head down. I felt like he had felt bad for biting the other dog. I told him I love you! Then something amazing happened: Milo and the other dog got along very well actually…

Then I heard my  dad talking with the owner for the other dog. He started getting along to the owner of the other dog. I told my dad the name of him. His name is Gilbert. “ He was a golden retriever, very cute. Once he started playing and kissing and doing tricks and letting me throw his very own ball from home that his owner brought with him. The owner was starting to be nice also when I accidentally did a bad throw and fell backwards on me butt. you okay?” He asked me. Maybe next time you’ll do better he added. Just remember never give up. I nodded and said “yeah thanks for supporting me.

My dad came over and said “what are you telling her?” I rushed over to my dad and said they are  actually not so bad after all. They are also nice to you? Yes didn’t you see Gilbert licking and jumping on me! I said in kind of a mean way. Yes I did I thought he was trying to hurt you. Why would he hurt me? He absolutely loves me. And he’s so adorable. Does Gilbert like to chase? I asked the owner Why yes he does said the owner of Gilbert which he’s name is m.r. Moose. His wife is at home baking lunch for Gilbert M.r. and M.r.s. Moose. Then just as I was about to pet Gilbert he ran  to a dog that entered the dog park  Milo’s head dropped down like a flower without water. I hugged  him and kissed him and said your ok I love you! He looked at me and he looked brighter and happier. He licked and jumped up on me. I laughed. He tickled me on the tummy when he rubbed his head on it. I was having so much fun! Then…

My dad called me. Ruby it’s time to go ok I yelled back. And said “Milo come” in a sweet voice and just like magic he came. I walked over to my dad and said could you hand me the leash from that picnic table? Sure! And he gave it to me. Then I clipped the leash on his collar. And said Milo heel that means come to your heel I know right it’s pretty easy to guess what that means I mean it has the word in the word. We opened the gate fling! Bang! It swung out so fast Milo was so startled. We started to walk down the block past the gigantic dog park. Milo started to tug and pull away from me. I said to him Milo heel. He didn’t listen. I gave him a little tug then he came over and stopped whining…

He sat down and looked at me and then looked at the ground. It looked like he was again a flower without water. We got to the street. I said to Milo sit. He did it like he was put under a spell. I said Milo ok he stood up and started crossing I crossed after him. We get to the other side of the street. We are on our way home for lunch. We walk down the next few blocks. Then I say Milo sit. Me and my dad are waiting for the light to turn green for us to cross it turns green. We walk. What’s for lunch daddy? He answers and says sunbutter and jelly sandwich for you and Eli but for me and your mother it’s trout salad. YAY!!!
