Terrific Travel Tips

In Paris, my family and I were at the Eiffel Tower. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t believe my mind. When it is the night at the Eiffel Tower there are lights all over it and it lights up the whole city. It was so silent and nice at the top you just stopped thinking, your mind was completely blank and you just felt the wind blow on your face. From that moment on I  just reflect on this day at that moment and think how awesome that was.  This is one of the reasons why traveling is a great way to experience and see the world in a new way.

Over the years of my life, I have completely loved food. I will almost eat anything that is edible like, I can’t think of a food that I dislike. I was in Japan when the chef plopped a whole baby octopus with an eyeball hanging out of its eye socket on a plate in front of me.  It was like takoyaki. Takoyaki is little balls of octopus filled in this whole dumpling that some of the octopus goes into. I looked at it and thought you’re really going to make me eat this? I’ve been to many Japanese restaurants in the USA and that has never happened to me. When I went to Paris I tried duck confit! It was so good I couldn’t believe my mind. I was thinking how the heck did you make this I need to know? Guess what, I didn’t learn how to make duck confit and I never found it ever again as good as it was! When I moved from New York I tried avocado toast, it was the best thing I ever tasted at that time. It was so good it’s up there on my list of best things I’ve ever tasted!!!! As you can see, traveling is a great way for me to taste new food!!

Back when I went to New Zealand and I saw these great glaciers on the way up there, my family had to take a helicopter, and half of my brain was saying oh no! And the other half was saying oh yes! When we went up to a 12,000-foot high mountain, going up there in a helicopter was one of the scariest but most fun things I’ve ever done!  I went to Panama and I was going down the stairs to the ocean to take a swim and I saw a lionfish right in front of me a lionfish. Lionfishes are very very dangerous animals that can kill you in seconds and you will need a hospital immediately! When I was walking down the steps Ben pushed me and I said “what the heck!” and he said “I just saved you” and pointed to the lionfish.  I have never had that experience anywhere else than Panama! Earlier I was traveling in the summer to Arizona and we went on a jeep ride on these super awesome red rocks and at one point we were at a 40-degree angle and the breaks didn’t work at the time so the driver had to use the emergency brakes! My point is that going to places great is also a good thing about traveling!

When I went to New York there were gusts up to 60 MPH of wind! There was a beach next to where I was staying and there are usually waves that are tiny, But when I saw them with 60 MPH they were HUGE! When I went to New Zealand the glaciers were melting and it was really sad because they were so cool and they were melting really fast. The glaciers have been turning brown from the ash from huge fires in Australia, and they have been melting a ton.  When I went to Barcelona I saw protesting and riots in the streets about building the Sagrada Familia a famous church and it was pretty scary but amazing that people were standing up for what they believed in! What I am talking about is that traveling is a way to see all the good or bad things that are happening in the world!!

What I have learned from this is that traveling is a great way for me and for other people to get a break and take time off in a beautiful place or a not so beautiful place. One of my opinions is that traveling is one of the greatest things ever (besides the jet lag). There are jungles, runes, forests, planes and so many more great things you can do when you travel.
