One Halloween night, Erynn was watching a scary movie. Erynn was an 18-year-old girl, and she was able to vote early in the upcoming 2020 election. Erynn checked her phone to see what time it was because she was getting exhausted and wanted to go to sleep. So Erynn checked her phone and checked the time but right before she turned her phone off, a notification popped up. The notification said, “Breaking news. Trump and the Russians have an advantage in winning the upcoming election, Trump says, “we will make America greater if we win and I will just say this joe, watch your back.” Joe responded to this, and this is what Joe had to say, ‘‘My campaign is much stronger than yours Mr. Trump, you are the worst president America has ever had’’ she then realized that she had to register to vote. So instead of going to sleep, she registered. The next morning her ballot came. She quickly opened the ballot and filled it out. When she was done filling out the ballot, she decided that she wanted to watch the documentary called “The Great Hack” it’s a movie about the 2016 election, Cambridge Analytica, and the Facebook CEO. it’s basically about the hack that the Russian government did. That’s how Trump won the 2016 election. Erynn thought to herself for a moment, ‘what did people ever do to trump? Like what made him so evil and selfish?’ then she realized that she said that out loud. She knew that her parents were Trump supporters, so she grabbed everything she needed to stay at her friend’s house for a week because she knew if she stayed in her house that her parents would have yelled at her so loud that she wouldn’t even be able to hear. She couldn’t get her car keys because they were in the kitchen and her parents were looking for her in the kitchen. So she quickly called an uber with her phone and rushed out the door, her door was creaky, so she had to be very stealthy but quick. She wasn’t thinking, but then she immediately realized that her parents heard the door. She rushed out of the house and got in her uber. She told the uber what address she needed to go to immediately. She told her uber to hurry. A few minutes later she was at her friend’s house, she rushed up the stairs and started knocking frantically on the front door. Her best friend came rushing down the stairs and opened the door to ask if she was ok. Erynn’s best friend, Brooke, always knew when Eyrnn was in trouble. Erynn pushed Brooke out of the way and ran up Brooke’s stairs and went into her bedroom. Brooke came racing after her and asked what was wrong. Eyrnn told Brooke everything. Right as Eyrnn finished her sentence, someone came knocking on the door. Erynn knew it was her parents so she hid while Brooke went down to get the door. When she opened the door, Erynn’s parents were standing right outside the door and the expressions on their faces were crazy and angry expressions. They asked if Brooke had seen Erynn. Brooke knew that she had to say no because she knew what would happen if she told them, yes, and she knew that Eyrnn’s parents were HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEE Trump supporters so she had to tell them no. when Brooke closed the door, she was so relieved that they had believed her. She went back to her room and told Erynn what happened, while she was telling her Erynn looked freaked out so Brooke asked what was wrong, Erynn said that she had to hide quickly because her parents were knocking on Brookes window in her room. Erynn closed her eyes waiting for it to all go away. When finally opened her eyes, she realized that it was time to go to bed because she had closed her eyes for so long that she didn’t even realize that hours were going by and everyone was getting ready for bed. So she asked what was going on, they said the election has started and that they were going to bed because they are waiting for the election results to come. So Erynn started to get ready for bed but when she and Brooke got in bed the tv came on and said the results had been counted and so they rushed to the living room and sat there with suspense waiting for the results. But back at Erynn’s house, they were screaming trump 2020 that they could hear it from Brookes’s house (not literally they were just screaming loudly). They were all watching tv when the news reporter said the votes are in and… NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO trump had won this election and they were all screaming, at Brooke’s house they were screaming in anger, but in Erynn’s house they were screaming in excitement. They were so mad that they just went to bed, but when everyone was asleep, Erynn got out of bed and made a plan for her to move so she bought 4 tickets for a trip to Canada because if Brooke and her family wanted to move with her, so she found a house that she liked so she bought the house. The next morning, Erynn told everyone that she was moving to Canada and they could come if they wanted to because she bought 4 tickets. The day they were completely moved in they called Erynn’s parents and told them they moved to Canada and that they got the last flight so they can’t fly to Canada. They got to see so many thing every day and the food was amazing (especially the pancakes).
