Buzzy Bamboozle

It was a typical morning for Buzzy Bamboozle. He got up and got dressed in the colors black and yellow.  He wore these colors every day in a signature pattern so that he could trick any predator. Then he ate his favorite cereal, Honey Nut Cheerios, which always gave him extra strength for bamboozling people. Buzzy Bamboozle, played an arcade game from his arcade machine. It was called, “Attack of the Bees,” but he hacked the game and won every single level. Afterwards, he went to the nearest casino to play cards. But he kept ten of the best cards under his jacket (that happened to be black and yellow also). Then he went to a dog park where all Buzzy Bamboozle had to do was buzz around dogs.  Finally, he went back home to watch any movie that had the phrase, fool, fools, or fooled again.

Buzzy Bamboozle, woke up the next morning, doing the exact same Buzzy Bamboozle daily routine. Except this time when Buzzy Bamboozle left his house, Buzzy Bamboozle ran into a butterfly. This butterfly was no ordinary butterfly. No, this butterfly was clear, glowy, and maybe even blind. Buzzy Bamboozle saw the butterfly and knew he had to trick it. So, Buzzy Bamboozle walked up to the butterfly and before he could do anything, the butterfly asked him a question.

“Would you like to play a card game?” the butterfly asked.

“Ummm, okay?” Buzzy Bamboozle said.

The butterfly sat down and so did Buzzy Bamboozle. They played the card game. The butterfly had put down all of the butterfly cards down, and those cards were actually really good! Buzzy Bamboozle was not scared though, because Buzzy Bamboozle had the ten best cards in the whole game. Buzzy Bamboozle reached down to grab his best cards, but they weren’t in his jacket anymore so he put down the other cards that he had, and he lost. Buzzy Bamboozle had been bamboozled. Where could Buzzy Bamboozles cards have gone? Buzzy Bamboozle looked up and saw the butterfly holding his ten cards.

“Nice try,” said the butterfly in a friendly manner.

“But how. What. You didn’t,” said Buzzy Bamboozle.

“A magician never tells their secret.”

The next day, Buzzy Bamboozle woke up, but Buzzy Bamboozle did not do his routine. He just looked out the window and thought, “How was someone else able to trick me better than I’ve ever been able to trick anyone?” Buzzy Bamboozle said.

As he was looking outside, he saw a clear-looking butterfly. It was the butterfly that tricked him. As soon as Buzzy Bamboozle saw the butterfly, Buzzy Bamboozle buzzed right out of his house and tried to poke the butterfly and say it was somebody else. But before Buzzy Bamboozle was able to poke the butterfly, the butterfly grabbed Buzzy Bamboozle’s hand and said, “Why would you try to poke me?”

Buzzy Bamboozle stayed silent for a bit and said, “Tricking and cheating are the things I have to do. It’s literally in my name!”

“I know exactly what to do with you,” said the butterfly, with a lightbulb on its head.

The next year, Buzzy Bamboozle did his normal daily routine, except with some slight changes. Buzzy Bamboozle no longer went to a casino in the morning, or went to the dog park to buzz around dogs, or hack, “Attack of The Bees.” He also didn’t come home to watch a movie with the phrase fool, fooled, or you fools. He went to his job (that’s right he has a job, well two jobs actually) in the day. He went to the reality tv show area, where he could do anything to his fellow cast members, Rhino Beetle, Lady Bug, Spider, and The Three Ants.

In the night, he did his magic show, which was tricking all sorts of bugs with all sorts of illusions. Then he went to the casino to cheat, then home to watch any movie with the phrase fool, fooled, or fools. He also hacked his favorite game, “Attack of the Bees,” and buzzed around the dogs. After all of that though, he took off his coat with the black and yellow pattern on it and put on his pajamas with the pattern, yellow and black.
