Atomic numbers determine wiegth, and how long the elements existded. For example:
}+ This makes hydrogen the lightest gas. And makes lithium the lightest metal. Not only does the atomic number determine the weight, it also tells you about the energy inside the atom.
Now that you know the basics, i’ll tell you about the energy stuff(also kinda basic). Inside of an atom, there are three main energy sources. There are electrons(negative energy), neutrons(neutral energy), and protons(positive energy). If you’re wondering where their place is, the electrons go on the veilons shell (i will explain later), and neutrons and protons go in the nucleus. There is an inner veilons shell which contains 2 electrons, and the outer shells contain eight. Somehow the electrons are everywhere on the shell at once, which people don’t fully understand
Radiation, light, and skin cancer.
Radiation can be caused by many things. When its waves pass through skin, it can kill chromosomes, DNA(deoxyribonucleic acid), skin cells, and antibacterial cells. You may have heard of skin cancer(melanoma). It can be caused by uv(ultra violet) light. It can come to the sun, and hits the outer gland of your skin, causing the pigment melanin to turn into melanoma.
Now, you may ask “what makes uv bad for you?” well the other light such as blue red,etc, are not toxic because of their wavelengths, there waves are looped large waves, so if they hit your
skin, they won’t hurt you. But uv has sharp jagged wave lengths, which have a higher chance of hitting you.

But radiation isn’t only bad, it can be used to kill cancer. It radiates the Carcinoma, which kills it. There are special radiation treatments for specific types of cancer, such as pancreatic cancer treated by chemotherapy. A fun fact is every color has a different wavelength.

The Periodic Table of Elements
Dmitri mendeleev invented the periodic table of elements. There are one hundred-eighteen elements. Each element has a different atomic number and density,
And most elements have a greek name, like au for gold, k for potassium, and hg for mercury.
Some elements can be radioactive, or toxic, but others you can find in stuff such as food, like potassium is in bananas, calcium in most dairy products, and zinc in most nuts. But when an element is in food, of course, it doesn’t mean it isn’t toxic, such as some fish have mercury in it, such as swordfish, fresh tuna, and mackerel, which can be highly toxic, but it isn’t likely.
There are groups of elements, and as you can see the transition metals is the largest group. The noble gases are the least reactive element on the whole table, and all of the actinides are radioactive.
There are seven groups in all.
Elements also make compounds! One element you will find in your home is hydrogen monoxide(h20), or water. You can find boron mixtures in borax, and laundry detergent, Argon and tungsten are in some light bulbs, and are used in electrical wiring and in some water pipes.
Some other cool facts about the elements
Francium is the rarest element on earth, asinine has only been spotted once, and is unknown, and polonium is the most poisonous element, found by Marie Curie, and named after poland. It is also highly radioactive. The only letter not in the periodic table is the letter J.
Carbon is known to form 10 million different compounds( kinda bananas….), noble gasses have the highest ionization energy, plutonium is the most poisonous element, and polonium the most radioactive. The United States has 502 tons of polonium, while Russia with 271 tons and France with 236 tons, and the stockpiles could continue to grow.
Plants
You’ve probably heard of photosynthesis, or “the natural plant feeding food”. We’re gonna go into a little more detail here. Chlorophyll and cyanobacteria form it. Magnesium is in chlorophyll, and cyanobacteria is made of a varios compound called hydrogen monoxide+carbon dioxide. The sugars in most leaves come from the veins, and in fall they fall of because of the pigments are cut short which stops the flow.
In fall the sun is less bright so the leeds stop turning green, and eventually fall off.
You could try to experiment with amounts of chlorophyll by growing a garden. If youre a beginner then hear are some easy projects
How to grow bush beans:
-plant the seeds one inch deep and 2 inches apart
gently pack down soil on top
- Water 1-2 a day
- Beans should grow after 2 weeks
Plants get the most photosynthesis in sunlight.

Some scientists observed that areas in usage for humans can waive the health and even existence of wildlife! Let’s look at birds. In about 50 years, their population has declined by almost ⅓!!!!!!!!!
Biologist Doug Tallamy thinks that if people started joining lawns and adding more trees, fewer pesticides, and fewer nonnative plants, people can restore lost biodomes!

There are two types of vesicles, the transport vesicle which transfers lipids and proteins between other cells. Secretory vesicles release subsistances to the exterior of the cell. The nucleus is the control center of the cell.

People with lower grades cant pay for doctor appointments, and if someone got seriously hurt, it would be hard to pay for a procedure or treatment. This can be a large problem, but there are many places you can donate to and fundraisers to help these people.
