I am from the San Francisco skies

From the windy rolling hills of Noe Valley

To the pretty views of the city.

I am from the fresh clean mountain air 

As it rockets past my face 

From the fast speeds of downhill skiing

To the snowfall of fresh powder

That will be amazing the next day.

From the amazing pow days to the beautiful views

As I rocket down the run,

To the waves hitting Lake Tahoe shores

As the sunset shows the most amazing colors.

I am from carrying skis to the lifts,

To the biking in the mountains,

As I do nothing on lazy Lake Tahoe Summer Days.

I am from wanting to travel and be adventurous,

Even after being active for hours,

From the Hatred of COVID,

Which has terrorized our country for months.

From the beautiful skies,

To the amazing drives,

As the sun sets behind us.

I am from happy fun times with friends,

To the Family on the East,

I AM FROM HERE!!!!
