Early years
When Rosa was a kid she lived with her grandparents. She was an African American but her family faced discrimination because of their race. She was usually sick as a child, but she was happy.
Life as an Adult
She was mentioned in the famous MLK speech and people blackmailed her. She married Raymond Parks. She didn’t give up her seat in the front of the bus when she was supposed to move to the back so she went to jail. That started the bus boycott. She never went on a bus again until the segregation laws on buses ended.
Accomplishments
She won many awards and helped stop segregation. When she died, she was the first African American to be in a place with the president and other famous people. She liked what she did and never regretted it.
