I am from a purple house.

From baseball nights till 9 and a house smelling like dogs and cats.                                    

                     From something always smelling good in the kitchen.

From a small cozy room with one giant bed with piles and piles of blankets.

From beautiful sunsets that have pink, yellow, orange, and a blue sky.

From a backyard with three chicken coops but one for ducks.

                                     From long nights with family on our gray corduroy couch.

From helping my twin sister with homework at night because of long nights at the gym.

                                                               I am from getting called Olivia by accident even though we don’t look alike. Called funny, kinda gross, sporty, and funnier nicknames.

                             From “STOP HURTING YOURSELF!” and “Pick up your dog’s poop!”

                     From using Gthebirdy as my nickname for everything(I even have a hat).

From calling myself potato with Nala because we think we are potatoes.

 From “You always get to pitch!” and “Stop singing christmas songs when it’s December 1st.”

I am from watermelon seed shootings, La Corneta delicious burritos with yummy gooey cheese and black beans, and corn chips!

                            From tacos with yummy fake meat and a cheese mountain!

                                From doritos and pretending, they are the words in Despacito.

                                  From having short nails so it’s hard to peel oranges.

                  From mouthfuls of spinach that turn my tongue green. From homemade nachos with extra cheese.

                                              From missing lunch 24/7.

From hating pizza, pasta, hamburgers,  hotdogs with real meat, pancakes, fruity sweet candy, and much more that will make you hate me more.

                          I am from my grandma’s meatloaf and comfy PJs that she makes every Christmas.

                                              From Christmas parties at the end of caroling and having Tomales and beer(beer for grown-ups) .

       From waiting till everyone is awake so we can open our presents!

From Movie nights on the couch with my family and the dogs on the ground trying to get our food from our small table.

         From volunteering for the SPCA by standing outside of Macy’s and asking people to donate money to the SPCA             every Christmas(what really gets them is the kittens and puppies that are on the other sides of the windows.

                                                                                                        People love donating after they see them.)
