It’s Christmas Eve afternoon 2017. I’m making a terrarium for my future pet, Corn .We have a heat lamp and a UVB light and some cork logs and sand. After we completed the terrarium we took some photos.
We got in the car and a few moments later we were out the driveway and driving. When we were driving we chatted about how cool it would be to have a bearded dragon. When we got there we admired the fish and turtles on the outside. After we were done looking at all of the animals outside we went in to the pet store. I gasped at of the reptiles around me, I saw small snakes next to me in small containers. On the other side I saw a terrarium filled with plants. In front of me, aisles filled with reptiles. I was in my favorite place the east bay vivarium!
I heard the reptiles scratching on the glass and people chatting. I started walking down the aisle to see Lemondrop the wreckled python. I see her curled up flicking her tongue in and out. One tank over there is an Asian River Monitor, who is bigger than me. I saw her in her pool flicking her tongue in and out like Lemondrop!
After I walk in the aisles I see reptiles of many shapes and sizes and tanks filled with decorations. I see a kid peeking into a tank, and when she leaves I look in the tank and what a love, a bearded dragon!
I asked my mom, “Can I get this one,”
she said, “Yes.”
I spent $75 and my mom spent the rest.
A few moments later Corn is in a box and we are driving to Ikea, then we went home. My hope is to learn more about Corn!!!!!!!!
