Throughout live oak 

     There is something special

      The acceptance shines like a diamond

       But every diamond has shadows

       Still we accept ourselves and others

      Then Covid struck like a snake in the grass 

      But still we learned and stayed strong

      And so we adapted and tried new things

      Through live Oak 

       We can feel free to raise our hands

       And speak up for what is right

       We can run through the park and talk

       We can learn the true story 

       And who lied the future is truth

       And we should be ready to make her-story 

       And his-story or their-story

        Through Live Oak

         We can soar in writing

         And reading or to 

        Math science art or music

         We learn perspective 

         And language 

         Met new teachers 

         Of all kinds and sorts

          Through live oak 

           We aren’t held back

           We eat up knowledge and 

           Find more

          We learn to all be friends

           To be challenged and to overcome 

            We may be challenged by words

            Or actions

            But we can always ask for help

            Through live oak

             We express thoughts and art 

              On paper or through words

               We share

               We learn who we can be 

               And we act and help

               We adventure

               And learn play is work

               Through live oak 

                Before COVID 

                 There was a box of the sweetest apples 

                 You could trap on a bad day

              We Remember The before 

              And look to the future

              But we are stuck and the present 

               And must remember it
