Hanukkah,

The eight nights of lights, 

one or two presents, every night,

We share our light by singing,

Latkes,

the delicious potato pie,

The crispy edge, that makes my night,

Dreidels,

We spin the dreidel to our consent,

What letter will I get?

Gimel, Dalet, Nun or shin?

I hope I get Gimel, then I will win,

All the chocolate coins.

yarmulkes,

the circular top hat,

On our heads,

that come in all sorts of colors,

Fridays,

After a hard weeks work,

We are ready for rest,

Bar Mitzvahs and Bat Mitzvahs,

When I turn thirteen,,

I turn into an adult, 

For my culture at least.
