I am from the downtown streets of San Francisco where you may find many busy stores, huge skyscrapers and restaurants full of wonderful smells. 

From windy winters to foggy summers with random sunny days in the fall,  

from staying home and enjoying a show on my couch to being outside at the park

From beach days to rainy stormy weeks . 

From loud streets with cars honking and people shouting

I am from  dreaming of dancing, hoping for more than just a move or a direction, a great opportunity.

From jJazz, tap, hip hop and contemporary to conventions and competitions  

From being  valedictorian in my old school 

From hoping to get as far as the moon and more of the galaxy 

From dreaming of a singer dancing what I choreographed

I am from yummy gummy food from nearby streets and great pastries of much delicious delight. 

From sweet, cold ice cream in my fridge

From the rich smell of many types of great foods like pizza on the next block , fruits, cooked vegetables, fresh bread, and more

From party food to fancy food

I am from pranks of many sort with my cousins 

From Friday night dinners with Mom tu

From watching cartoons, comedies, and soccer with my dad 

From going every Christmas to Lake Tahoe

I am from being called sweet, nice, and chatty to quiet, and some sort of lazy, 

From cry baby, liar, and friend to kind, friendly, funny, brave and noisy

From “you are helpful” to “you have to help”

From small to short and clumsy
