Fornite Fannatic Info

I have so much fun when I win a Fortnite game. I get really angry when my character dies in Fortnite to another person in the game. When I win I am like, “Lets go, lets go!” And when I die I am slam my Fortnite controller on the couch. Fortnite is fun but it is sometimes it triggers anger.

Playing Fortnite is entertaining when you play with friends. It is most enjoyable if you have a microphone because you can talk to your friends if you’re in the same game on the same team. You can also have build-battles which test your skill against other players. For example, when I build-battled Jwillaim, he says in to his microphone, “Do you want to build-battle?” I reply, “Sure, I will go set it up.” A build-battle is where you try to kill the other person by building and shooting them. So I run over to a flat spot on the map and build two ramps opposite from each other. I invite Jwillaim to come over to the opposite ramp from me. I say, “We should start at 31:30 because that is the time left in the private match.” At this point I am feeling really happy because I almost never get to build-battle Jwilliam because he is usually playing at different times than me. So at 31:30 we start to build up and up and up with ramps, floors, walls, and triangles until one of us kills the other with guns. In build-battles it does not matter who wins, the point is to have fun playing with friends.

Fortnite is also challenging. You progressively level up and that is super hard. I always hear people brag about what level they are on. For example, they may say, “Jeff, guess what level I’m on?” “67!” replies Bob. “You are right!” They might also say, “Sara’s only on level 3. She is so bad!” “I’m like 10 times better than her!” says Jeff. You can also level up by doing daily and weekly challenges. The challenges are simple stuff like play 10 matches or get 10 kills. Sometimes it’s hard like you have to get 10 kills in the same match. All the challenges are different but sometimes they are related.

Twitch adds even more challenge to Fortnite. Sometimes you are in a game with a Twitch player and Twitch players are very good. They broadcast on a platform called Twitch. Twitch is a platform that people may use to make live videos of games like Fortnite. Once I was playing and I was in a build-battle with a Twitch streamer and I died to him. It was really annoying.

Fortnite is very expensive.  My friend Jwilliam thinks it’s so expensive that he stopped buying skins and gliders. There is this thing called “the shop” and it is a place where you can buy skins, gliders, pickaxes, and dances for V-bucks. (V-bucks are the in-game money currency.) 1 real US dollar is worth 100 V-bucks.  The shop changes every 24 hours, it changes at 4:00 PM. There are rarities that decide how many V-bucks something costs in the shop. Gray is common and anything gray is 5 dollars. Green is uncommon and therefore anything green is 8 dollars. Blue is rare and anything blue is 12 dollars. Purple is epic and anything purple is 15 dollars. Gold is legendary and anything gold is 20 dollars.

Players pressure other players to buy a skin or you are not a “cool kid.” This is an example, “Jeff, have you bought a skin yet?” Jeff says, “No, I have not.” Jwilliam says, “Bro, you should buy a skin or you are dumb.”  Yeah, it is not fun when you have no skins and people are telling you to buy one. Spending money is dumb because when you buy a skin it just changes the way your character looks and it makes you look cool in front of your friends. That is why I don’t spend money anymore because you just waste your money. I spent money in the early days of Fortnite because I wanted skins to play with. I also thought they were cool.

Now ask yourself a question, would you play Fortnite or would you not play Fortnite? I would because it is enjoyable but I also know it is really addicting. I almost abandoned Fortnite because I was really mad at myself for dieing to someone in the game. With a perspective, I’m Eli.
