When Zahrah found out she could fly, she started flying with the elgort egg. She flew past the birds on the mission to save Dari. No one thought she would be alive; they all thought she had been dead for a while by now. Zahrah’s mission has been to save Dari and to stay alive; she had to get an elgort egg to save him.
Zahrah gets brave while going throughout the jungle. For example, after she gets out of the scorpion situation, she goes to the bee tree to get some honey but she wasn’t as scared at all. After the situation with the scorpion Zahrah is a bit more brave going through the jungle since she thinks she has protection. She goes to the woodwit tree where the bees were and there was a grumpy woodwit. She bravely asked for some honey but the woodwit started getting angry since the woodwit noticed that the bees were being very kind to Zahrah. Zahrah asked again if she could get some honey and the bees were saying yes. The woodwit gave her an ultimatum because of this. He gave her between these two options: do you either want to go home and live or take the honey and save your friend? Zahrah chose the second option and tried to save Dari. After she ate the honey she had a full stomach and that helped her keep going and keep fighting through it. Then her mission was to save Dari and find the elgort egg.
She also finds out she can fly so she can go get the egg. She flies out not afraid at all. Zahrah goes to get the elgort egg so she can save Dari and go back home. Zahrah gets confused because she needs a certain egg to save Dari but then she picks one, takes one and gets out in a hurry before the elgort gets back. She tries levitating and then she starts flying. She never knew she could fly! After she’s out of there flying in the air, she gets more brave and not scared about all the things happening. She drops the egg but then goes down to get it confidently not scared at all. After that she goes to sleep but then there’s a huge lightning storm but instead of being scared like earlier she laughed it out.
Then when the frog tells her she was the first one to do this in the jungle she got more confident and flew back home to save Dari. After flying around, she lands to find the egg and she runs into a frog. The frog tells her a lot about the jungle and the dangerous animals. After that, the frog tells Zahrah that she’s the first person to do all this stuff in the jungle without dying. I’d imagine that she thinks herself like a superhero or a person that could do the impossible. Then she goes back home flying to save Dari, as confident as ever!
As Zahrah got more brave over time she confronted her scariest challenges. For instance, she was brave when she got out of that scorpion situation, when she learned she could fly, and when she ate the honey. She was the first person to come out of the jungle alive and saved someone. If you want to confront your fears and challenges, then you should read Zahrah the Windseeker.
