Ocean Relief

I am from waking up and hearing as birds chirp louder than the *BEEP BEEP*of my alarm clock

I am from walking into the kitchen as I hear my dad step through our screeching garage door as he gets back from his run.

I am from getting to school as I see other students walk through the big glass doors that gently sweep open when touched with the lightest touch.

I am from being greeted by our bright yellow flowers like little shards of the sun that have started to bloom and grant light to our street.

I am from getting out of our small but big car that is a stormy cloudy type of gray.

I am from seeing something and instinctively jumping off and soaring through the air, waiting to bounce off the ground as my legs have a weak but sharp pain, even though I know I am not supposed to jump, I do it every day.

I am from sounding like a airplane when i fly by, and the terrified look on my face

I am from having warm fluffy pancakes every Saturday morning as a treat from completing the week.

I am from zipping down a ski hill as I can hear the wind whistle past my ear.

I am from coming home and realized that I haven’t yet taken my pet hamster, Rover, out of his cage.

I am from not being able to sleep well because of my hamster running on his wheel and his little claws clicking on his little plastic floor.

I am from ending the day out as I look over the ocean and realize how relieved I am to be home.
