I am from the same White House I’ve lived all my life

With amazing redwood trees surrounding my house

I am from light from the golden gate seeping through my windows

And going to beautiful snowy Idaho

I am from the old Presidio

And the loud birds chirping each morning

I am from the city of fog

I am from hoping to be a cop

And sea cadets

I am from wishing for no COVID

From world peace

And no racism

I am from hoping to meet Albert

And praying for equality

I am from hoping every day I can see my friends

I am from taco night each week

I am from hot pizza every Friday night 

I am from thanksgiving at my grandparents every year

And eating with the Speyer’s every Wednesday 

I am from going to Hawaii

And the fairmont

From hualalai

And Shabbat

I am from going to camp blue

From sun valley and baldy

I am from celebrating Judaism

And the sweet perfect challah

I am from people saying Im funny

And saying I have good manners

From being a good friend

And saying I have a big heart

I am from being called trustworthy

From people saying I’m nice

I am from watching tik toks on my phone

I am from FaceTiming my friends

And shootings

From coronavirus sneaking through the world

I am from whispers and drama

I am from Black Lives Matter

And elections

I am from worrying about health

And wishing for normality

I am from texting

And drama
